CORBILLARD : (hearse in french)
The funeral procession was started at the end of 2009 by four irresponsible adults who had played before in Skarbone 14, Poulycroc, The Skalogg's, Struggling For Reason, Flow, Skaïra and Wash Out Test (amongst others). Relying on a solid experience on stage and cultivating an excessive love for punk, sleeveless T-shirts, champagne and scandal, Corbillard brings out its song "Premières Obsèques" ("First funeral") at the beginning of 2010. This makes them leave their funeral parlour to sing the praises of carefreeness, irony and disillusion at some fifty concerts (in France and Belgium) during their first year of existence. On their way they will meet the Uncommonmenfrommars (Fr), Vulgaire Machins (Can), Ultra Vomit (Fr), Burning Heads (Fr), Antillectual (Nl), Astpaï (Aut), Tarakany (Rus), Les Ramoneurs de Menhirs (Fr), Bad Chicken (Fr), P.O. Box (Fr),... In January 2011 the macabre convoy stops at the Rising Sun Studio (Brussels) to record their first album "J'irai m'crasher sur vos tombes" ("I'll crash on your graves") (release date october 2011) and takes off for another wave of concerts. |
