The UK's Beecher have officially signed a multi-album, worldwide deal with Earache Records. Here's a statement from guitarist Mark Lyons:
"We are proud to be joining forces with one of the most prominent and influential extreme labels out there, and one of our favorite labels to date with an artist roster that mirrors our own music collections. We look forward to finally getting our records out worldwide!"
The group's "Breaking the Fourth Wall" album will be re-released by Earache in early-2005. The group will then begin demoing material for a new album, which will likely be recorded next summer.
Richmond, Virgina band Stop It!! recently broke up for undisclosed reasons. Formed in 2001, the band has previously released material with Robotic Empire and Perpetual Motion Machine Records. They had recently returned from their first European tour and were scheduled to record a new album this winter. Some members are now involved in other projects, including Jeff (drums), who is singing and playing guitar for Pink Razors, and Brendan (guitar), who is playing bass for Castle Danger.
Doomriders have officially joined the Deathwish Inc. roster. The group features Nate Newton (Converge), Jebb Riley (There Were Wires), Chris Pupecki (Cast Iron Hike), and Chris Bevalaqua (Hallraker) and the label describes them this way: "[This] wall of sound is the bastard child of Classic Rock, Death N' Roll and raging Skate Rock. With a majority of their songs Skate-inspired, they push forth with a heaviness that brings to mind later era Entombed and Integrity, while their raw punk bursts conjure memories of the legendary JFA."
Seattle rock/hardcore/punk band Aiden have officially signed with Victory Records. The group has previously released a full-length with Dead Teenager Records in addition to a new split with Stalins War, with whom they'll be touring the remainder of this month out West.
Paint It Black will be touring Europe from June 10th until June 26th 2005.
The long-awaited Starkweather album will likely be mixed and mastered by February.
Nerve Gas Tragedy, featuring 4/5ths of All Out War, have posted demo material online.
Extol have chosen "Blueprint" as the title to their upcoming new album which will arrive in stores in Europe on February 21st via Century Media. A North American release date is currently pending. In the meantime the band have been working on a video for the track "Pearl", which will serve as first single from the effort.
Bloodsimple (Vision Of Disorder) are eyeing "A Cruel World" as the tentative title to their upcoming Bullygoat/Warner debut which will see a release early next year.
A Failure tribute is currently being put together by Renfield Records with Cave In, The Beautiful Mistake, Avec, Statistics, The Minus Scale, Fairmont and more set to appear. More info can be found over at www.renfieldrecords.com. |
