    Justice has decided to call it quits. Everything comes to an end, it was our time to go.

  • More details have surfaced for the 90s punk documentary first announced on Punknews.org in April of this year. Officially titled One Nine Nine Four: Documenting the Birth, Growth and Explosion of Punk Rock in the 90s, the film does just that, It will feature interviews with bands such as Green Day, NOFX, the Offspring, Blink 182, Rancid, Bad Religion, Lagwagon and many more. It looks at the explosion of punk rock, from the beginning of the Warped Tour, the success of Green Day and Blink-182 and more.

  • Sweden's Disfear have unveiled details for their new album "Live The Storm". "Live The Storm" was recorded with Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou at his Godcity studios in Salem, MA and includes 10 all new songs from the band. The complete tracklisting is as follows: "Get It Off", "Fiery Father", "Deadweight", "The Cage", "The Furnace", "Live The Storm", "Testament", "In Exodus", "Maps of War", and "Phantom". Relapse Records will release "Live The Storm" will see a January 22th North American release date, January 28th internationally.

  • The End Records has signed the new project entitled J2, featuring enigmatic singer/songwriter/performer Jarboe and Justin Broadrick, frontman for ambient/progressive noise project Jesu.

  • Zeke will release a digital EP, titled "Kings of The Highway" on December 11th through Relapse Records.

    Springboard Films has announced that the Black Lips (VICE) have signed on to star in the feature film, Let It Be. Scheduled to begin production in May of 2008, Let It Be takes place during the late eighties in the post-punk American underground rock scene. Atlanta's notorious Black Lips will play a fictional band who become a symbol of the changing cultural landscape. The movie will be filmed throughout the Southeast and will include notable music of the period and new music written by the band.

    It's October 17, 2007, Edge Day. The celebration of Edge, and you can take part by checking out a local straight edge hardcore show, getting a sick XXEDGEXX tattoo and abstaining from booze, drugs and smoking while yelling "True till death." Of course, it's a work day so if you're going to work drunk, stoned and smoking, you've got a particularly interesting workplace and Chris wants to know if they're hiring.

    The first annual National Edge Day was celebrated on October 17, 1999 at the final Ten Yard Fight concert at the nightclub Karma in Boston, Massachusetts. The concert also featured the bands Bane, In My Eyes, Fastbreak, Reach The Sky and Floorpunch. This show marked the end of the 1990s youth crew revival.

    Sweden's The Hellacopters have announced that they are breaking up. Fans of the band need not fret though, as they have announced tone more tour of Europe to followup the release of their seventh full-length album, due in 2008. The band issued the following statement:
    After nearly thirteen years as The Hellacopters we're now sad to tell you that we are breaking up. The reasons behind this very difficult decision are many and too personal to go into here. "Playing in a rock and roll band isn't always a walk in the park, but thanks to all of you who rocked out with us at sweaty clubs, rainy festivals or at home by the stereo throughout the years, it's been a fantastic trip. We'll never forget your support. "We recently finished mixing our seventh and last studio album and it'll be released early next year, according to initial plans. We feel like we wanna say one last goodbye to you and throw in the towel with a bang, so we're aiming to do a farewell tour through Europe and Scandinavia sometime in the spring. So you're not getting rid of us just yet.
    The Hellacopters most recently released Rock & Roll is Dead in 2005.
