About the new song, ON OUR PLAYER NOW:
In the summer of 2007, Tiger Army was asked to participate in an album of covers of The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack. The band covered "Oogie Boogie's Song." Sadly, the record company opted not to include it on the physical release of the album. Even more sadly, this track would be the band's last work with the late Jerry Finn, the amazing producer who helmed Music From Regions Beyond.
The only good news is you can now hear this track for yourself, it's downloadable as a single, .99 cent track from Itunes HERE -- scroll down to Track 21 and click "Buy Song."
Beware, our song is NOT on the actual Nightmare Revisted CD to our knowledge, despite early tracklistings from the record company that still pop up all over the internet. There was a lot of hassle involved with the making of this track, but we're happy that it gave us another chance to work with Jerry and we're proud of the results -- you should check it out. | |
