Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine are releasing two versions of their new song SHOCK-U-PY! as a pay-what-you-want digital download. The two versions are an acoustic sing-a-long mix and a heavier rock-a-long mix. The two song mixes are available right now on Jello's bandcamp page: http://jellobiafra.bandcamp.com

Biafra explains: "Better late than never, here's our tribute inspired by the Occupy movement. Not just 'occupy' - SHOCK-YOU-PY! - since my favorite kind of resistance can have theater, pranks and other creative sabotage - non-violent, of course!"

According to DCHeavyMetal.com, '80s punk rock legends DEAD KENNEDYS performed what are apparently two brand new songs — "Area 51" and "You're Such A Fake" — during their October 16, 2010 concert at the Rock And Roll Hotel in Washington, D.C. In addition, the band played a reworked version of the old song "MTV Get Off The Air", now re-titled "MP3 Get Off The Web", with lyrics that were "changed to be about people downloading MP3s and how much they suck for doing it."

(a dolog általános szánalomfaktora mellett ez az utolsó, idézőjeles mondat külön jól mutat az in god we trust "home taping is killing the music industry..." kezdetű poénjával.)
